About Old Country
Otterhounds & Irish Terriers
Our first terrier was an Airedale that joined our family in 1982, she had no idea she was a dog, just family.
It stands to reason why we would end up with Otterhounds because they are a parent of the Airedale breed. Our search took about 1½ years and 3 breeders before we found a breeder that met our needs, then the trek across country to California to pick up Lily made it all real. About a 1½ years later, we found another pup and breeder, we fell in love with the pup and family. New Jersey is where our 2nd girl Elke came from and the sire of our current litter Trump with our Cali girl Lily.
Our 1st Irish Terrier, Annie, joined our family in 2010 and we fell in love with the breed after which we got Kate and Ben in 2015, Faith and Louie in 2017. Like chips, you can't stop at one.
